Thank you
very much for the Illustration Station CDrom and the
new Chez monkeys. My kids promptly named them all. They
get LOTS of use! Frequently we line them up and each one has to have
his turn in practice...with the children doing all the voices. I get
quadruple responses from them! Many times, Chez has calmed a nervous
child by just being huggable. He has a well established personality
with all of my clients!
The children beg for "Cheese & Macaroni" and "Where
Did My Shoes Go?"
Your songs have been great in teaching sequencing, rhythm, spatials,
And FUN!! Although I should sing only to babies and in the shower, I
enjoy singing along with the children to all of these songs. This is
such a fun way to teach meaningful information.
When I
first attended your presentation, I was very dubious about how I
could incorporate music into my traditional therapy program, since I
really do not sing. By the end of the presentation, I was enjoying Chez
monkey's antics and singing right along! Please continue to develop
more
songs and CD's for us. I have recommended your CDs as Christmas and
birthday gifts, and have given them to my 2 and 5 year old grandsons.
I
encourage parents to play the CDs in the car to teach, and entertain
children. Everyone enjoys them!

Your music/activities
are truly awesome! I work in a preschool
speech-language early intervention program. The kids and the teachers
I
work with have responded so well to the songs.......and the school year
is just beginning! The songs, pictures, and suggestions for activities
are really fun and useful...........I've been laminating pictures like
mad and also have been enjoying the music.....I appreciate your
creativity and all the work you've done.
Just wanted to say thank you!!!!

I wanted
to tell you how much my families and I are enjoying your CDs. I run
the infant program in Thousand Oaks, CA, and I’m also a speech
language pathologist. Because of your songs I have had children, who
were non-verbal, start to vocalize and children, who were only grunting,
begin to form sounds. I use your songs in my “Mommy and Me”
class in music time, and I use them with tiny, frail babies who are
so sick in their homes. I have seen a reaction in every child who has
listened to these songs. I ordered two of the Imitation Station and
Vocalocomotion CDs so I could have my families borrow them for a few
days (they don’t want to give them back, so I have directed them
to your website-I hope they visit and buy from you!). I truly have enjoyed
incorporating them into my routine. I haven’t had the opportunity
to look at your wonderful activities and objectives on your website
yet. I will look at them, and I’ll bet that I can incorporate
them also. Just wanted you to know that the children, parents and staff
here love your work. Keep it up!

"Hello
My name is Monica and I have a 2 1/2 year old boy. My husband and I
are Mexicans, and we speak Spanish most of the time. Our son has been
raised in an environment where English and Spanish are spoken.
By the time he was 2 years old, he didn't speak a word. He didn't even
say Mom or Dad. His doctor told us to take him to therapy.
We started doing research looking for more information about bicultural
kids, and most of the articles say that kids with an influence of 2
or more languages, may speak later than other kids.
Anyway, I found your webpage and became interested, so I got for my
son your first 3 CDs and the monkey. I’ve been playing them everyday
at home or in the car. He LOVES the songs! He is speaking a lot (most
of his words are in English) and he knows all your songs by memory.
He sings them the whole day.
As a mom, I'm very pleased with Kids' Express Train. I like your songs
a LOT! They are good for preschoolers, because the lyrics are simple
and easy to remember. Congratulations for your hard work!"
Sincerely,
Monica
"These
are 'must have' CDs!
I am a firm believer in Kids’ Express Train CDs, because I have
seen how children not only enjoy them but learn from them and retain
what they have learned! Children practice and listen to these CDs over
and over again. I wouldn't be without them. Try them, and I know that
you will agree!
Thank you Kids’ Express Train!"

My son was diagnosed with apraxia at the age of 2 by his speech therapist.
I purchased your 3 CDs and have been using them with my son over the
past 2 months. His speech development has improved greatly. He loves
listening to the music, and I had the joy of hearing him sing 4 songs
in a row! Thank you for this product! It has had a definite impact on
Houston's speech development.
Thank you very much,

Hi my name
is Marcia and I have an autistic daughter. She was diagnosed around
the age of 3 1/2. She had very limited speech, mostly saying "mama"
"da da" and "book". She was also using basic sign
language.
In October 2003, a person who works with my daughter doing one-on-one
therapy gave me the Kids' Express Train web site, (www.expresstrain.org),
and suggested I take a look to see what products they offer. When I
went to the web site I was amazed at the CD's that were offered and
decided to order them.
My daughter, now 8 is actually singing the songs word for word because
of these incredible CDs. She gets so excited when we put them on for
her to listen to. We recently purchased "Conversation Station",
and she loves it. I know that Kids' Express Train has been a remarkable
tool in assisting my daughter with her speech.
I feel this product would be wonderful for all children with or without
speech difficulities.
Sincerely,
Marcia

"We
use these CDs every day in our ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
classroom as a part of our "good morning routine". These CDs
have dramatically increased the amount of time the students can sit
for group time."

"I
liked this CD so much that I am going to order another for a friend!
Thank you! My 3 yr old son has verbal apraxia, and he really enjoys
these songs. He really tries to sing along! He won't even try to sing
to regular fast-paced songs. Keep it up!"

These
songs are great for any children, not just children who have
speech needs. The fact that they help children with their speech is an
added bonus.

I go in our school, I am hearing "Baby Blowing Bubbles."

One

CD. She loves it.

I
have given your CD to 2 families of children (ages 4 and 5) who have
verbal dyspraxia. Both families give very positive feedback. Their children
love listening to the CD and are able to sing the words, too.
ECSE speech-language pathologist
My
kids love the CD. We sing the songs (sometimes with the CD and sometimes
without) just about every day. It is such a fun way to "practice"
language for both child AND parent.

The
other day my son got an owie and awhile later he looked at me and said,
“Owie All Gone.” It was the first time he had ever said
that, and I’m sure it was from listening to that song.
Mother of a 2 ½ year old speech
therapy student
This
CD is upbeat and lively, and each song works on very specific speech
and language goals. Instead of just listening to the music like other
CDs, my children interact with these songs. They are easy and fun and
my kids keep wanting to sing them over and over again. These songs are
a great continuation of the sound and word practice done in speech therapy.
Rachel's songs work on speech in a FUN way.

from other parents:
These
CDs give me ideas for speech practice and teaches me how to make it
fun.
My
daughter (age 2) is now singing the “Go in my Car” song
because she can imitate vowel sounds.
